Serious Commitment

Ok, I am making a serious commitment here for all of you to witness. If by December 18th which is 7 weeks from now I haven't lost 14 pounds, which is a two pound a week loss, I am going to join a program that will help me to lose it. I am going to ask for the weight loss program as my gift from my family for Christmas. I really need to be serious and I think that two pounds per week is a reasonable goal. From today if I lose 14 pounds my weight will be 221.6.

  2. YAY! You so can do it! However, I told you before, that the $ that I spent on LAWL was the best $ I ever spent... but I wasn't as poor back then either, lol ;) I suppose that's what having kids and no job does, lol.

    So what are you going to do differently to make sure that you meet your goal?

  3. I am tracking everyday on livestrong. Every day! I am putting down all the food that goes in my mouth even if I am ashamed I am eating it. Molly has been helping me by checking to see if I am tracking.

    I am making a commitment to the gym at least 3 times a week.

    I am bumping up my water goal to 4 bottles based on what I have read.

    I think if I am eating the things I should I will be ok. From September 15th to November 6th which is 7 weeks and 3 days I have lost 14 pounds so I think I will be ok if I am focused and cook myself food so I know that I have something good to eat.

  4. Mallory, that is so great!!! I am so proud of you!! If you need any support - recipe ideas, someone to talk you out of eating a candy bar, don't hesitate to ask. :) I'm going to track everything on Livestrong, also. I've been doing pretty well at tracking, but sometimes when I don't eat very well or binge eat 1,000 halloween candy bars I haven't put it on there. So everything, every day!! We can so totally do this!!!

    Lori, when did you do LAWL? And what did think about it? I've known a couple different people that have done Slim 4 Life and Weight Watchers. I'm just always curious about how different programs work.

  5. I am exactly the same Molly, when I binge that's when I do the absolute worst! I do need support Molly, it was really great that you commented about me not tracking. It gave me that kick in the butt to start again!
