Mallory's Tuesday Goals

And countdown to Thanksgiving two days. Poo, I weighed myself again this morning and I was down .4 pound. But I drank tons of water, got good sleep, was under on my calories, I drank my water. I was expecting to be back where I was two days ago. So looking at my livestrong I got way too much sodium. I ate two hotdogs which were so terrible.

Today's goals:
Be under on sodium I'm thinking 1500 mg.
Drink 4 bottles of water
Look at my tracking and see what has been different in the last week.

  1. Ok, so from what I could tell from looking at my tracking this is what I think: (Molly tell me if you concur since you look at it too)

    I think I eat too much sodium generally. So lowering sodium will be one of my goals. Today's sodium was AWESOME like 744 mg of sodium. I didn't eat any condiments except my homemade salsa. I also realized that the "chicken breast skinless roasted" that I had been tracking has 0mg of sodium and my chicken I buy has 180 per 4 oz so I have been estimating less than I really have eaten.
    Doh!

    Also, my second thing is that I think sugar really affects me, and I know I have said this before but I need to cut out all sugar. I kind of thought that if I was just having 5 or 10 and staying within my calories that it would be ok, but on all of my weight gains I had sugar in the few days before.

    I also have noticed that the more I eat sugar or sugary tasting things the more I want it. So today is 2 days free of sugar and I felt better today than yesterday.

    My 30 minutes of exercise today was walking and it felt pretty good!

    I have probably 1/2 cup left in my 4th bottle of water. Yay me

  3. LOL, at least you're honest about it! In the spirit of full disclosure, after I posted my daily recap or whatever, I had another piece of pumpkin bread and some hot chocolate with half and half in it. Mmmm... creamy.

    Good job on the water and exercise! It's great that you figured out the sodium in the chicken thing. I sometimes think I'm underestimating by choosing the wrong things when tracking. I guess we just really need to pay attention to the details and if it's not exactly what we're eating, add it.

  4. HMMM, that's funny because I only saw 1 piece of pumpkin bread and no hot chocolate on your tracking for today . . .Ha ha just kidding, sort of, please don't hate me.
