Today is a good day!

Today is a good day for a number of reasons. First, the scale said 146.8 which is great after Mondays weigh in and I think it's down .2 from a week ago. Second, I got a good quick workout in before work this morning. And i was able to do it outside which is always nice. Finally, two weeks from today I will be leaving Georgia for good!

Goals for today and this weekend are the same as always:
drink my water
exercise every day
keep my food in check

Happy Friday to everyone.

  4. For another week I work as a Test Examiner which means I sit in a room and proctor tests. Then we are moving back to Palisade. We will be moving in with my parents until we both can find jobs and "get on our feet". I'm very excited to be going back to Colorado and to be close to my family again!

  5. That's awesome!! If your mom is like mine, living close with kids is the best thing you can do for yourself! For one of our Christmas presents, my mom gave Justin and I a day of babysitting for each month. Once a month I drop the kids off at her house at noon on Saturday and don't pick them up again until noon on Sunday! IT IS THE BEST PRESENT!! She also watches them other times, comes over for appointments, hospital visits in the middle of the night. It's great!

  7. Wow - I didn't know you guys were coming back - that's so exciting!

We lived in LA and Little Rock before we moved back here two years ago. I have to say that I *loved* being away, but it becomes different when you have kids. After Sophie was born, it was a lot more important to be closer to family.

I hope you enjoy being back! Like Mallory said, living close to family is great :)
