I did ok yesterday: my calories were about a hundred over, but it's way better than I've been doing. I drank 3.5 bottles of water and my sodium ended up being almost 2500, which is slightly over what livestrong thinks I should have. But, it was totally worth it for that last piece of pumpkin pie! I didn't weigh myself this morning. It actually never crossed my mind until I saw Lori and Mallory's posts and by then I was well into my first cup of coffee.
My goals for today:
Drink 3 bottles of water
track calories
stay under 1300

I *needed* to weigh myself since I was so crazy over yesterday but I don't think it's necessary to weigh every day. I do think that it helps me stay on track though.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for doing so well yesterday! I was also over on my sodium, but my dad brought home subs from Papa Kelsey's (have you eaten there? It's divine!) and I really just guessed one what the 1/2 sandwich would be equal to.
And now your pie is GONE, so that's good! :)
Yeah, I weigh a lot more than I probably should. I only track it on livestrong on Monday and Friday though so only those ones count.
ReplyDeleteI weigh everyday, but I think it has really helped me to gage the foods that trigger weight gain in me and it gives me a better perspective on how my body works with weight. I don't get discouraged if there is a gain during the week, the only weigh in that counts is the one on friday.
ReplyDeleteToday was a good day! I'm under 1000 on my calories and Lori and did some elliptical fun at the gym, which was great! I really needed that! I'm working on my 3rd bottle of water and WILL finish it before I go to bed. My sodium was a little over 2000, but still under what livestrong thinks I should have.
ReplyDeleteMallory - do you track it through the weightloss dare? I have a bad habit of only entering my weight on that when I've lost at least a pound from my previous weight entered.
I've been thinking about weighing more. It would probably be useful, like Carrie said.
Yes, I do the weightloss dare. I have been putting in increases too.
ReplyDeletegood for you guys for going to the gym!
Carrie, I agree that it helps me to track what foods trigger my body to gain weight. It also helps me be a little more motivated. I find myself saying "I'll just be a little extra good tomorrow and I can have _______" if I don't weigh every day.
ReplyDeleteMolly - good for you for being around 2000 on sodium. It's so hard. Yesterday I was over on my sodium AND fat (stupid almonds!).
