Friday Weigh In

Today my weight was 223.2 which is down 1.6 pounds from my pre-thanksgiving weight.

And down 26 pounds from my starting weight. I have 2 pounds to go to make my December 18th goal so I can have Christmas and I would like to weigh 215 by Christmas. That's three pounds a week, which is what I have my livestrong set at so it should be doable. But with it being the Christmas season it will be somewhat difficult I think. So I am not going to be upset with myself if it doesn't happen.

Theoretically if I make 215 my christmas goal, that would give me 7 weeks to lose that other 15 pounds which is 2.14 pounds per week to be at 200 by Valentines day. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I also think that if I look at it in short measurable steps on the way to my bigger goals it seems a lot better. Well and 2.14, that has to be a sign right? Feb 14th, valentines day 2.14 pounds a week. Yeah, I think so.

So today's goals are the same as always,

I am going to pop that workout DVD in right now and then get a shower before Osina comes.
Drink 4 bottles of water
stay within calorie and sodium ranges

    I agree that shorter measureable steps are easier to accomplish on your way to the big goal. I love that you did the math! And that math is a sign. :)

  3. Oh, and I think that trying to be 215 by Christmas is a good goal, but you're right, don't get down about it if you're not b/c the holiday season is *so* hard. For some reason the baking seems to start Dec 1st and won't end until the 25th. Not necessarily your baking, but everyone else's baking who will then give it to you. And not to mention Christmas parties. At least with you basically being in charge of the Christmas party you can have some good for you stuff too that you'll be able to eat! Wahoo!

    And what a sexy Valentine's gift for both of you to be under 200! ;)

  4. Today was pretty good, I went over a lot on my sodium but I don't really know how bad it was because I didn't eat at a chain for dinner. I got close I think though.
