Today I am going to go for a run/walk on the river trail.
I will drink 3 nalgene's worth of water. (I'm totally copying Mallory on this one)
I am going to cut up the pineapple that has been sitting on the counter before it goes bad and eat that for desert instead of ice cream.
I will track my calories.

p.s. I weighed myself this morning after having one cup of coffee because I forgot. So current weight: 174.8. Up about 5 lbs. from where I was 10 days ago. Not good.

ReplyDeleteAs for the five pounds, it's ok things will get better! If you're like me salty and sugary foods are my depression foods, I bet you totally have 5 pounds of water in there!! See you in the morning!
Well, I tracked my calories today and came to the shocking realization (read with sarcastic voice in your head) that while most everything I ate was healthy, I ate way too much of it. I didn't set a specific goal for today, but on livestrong my goal is right about 1500 calories per day. My calorie intake today was 2,093. But you have to start somewhere. And I'm forgoeing dessert because frankly and don't need it and also, I'm still full from dinner...
ReplyDeleteI didn't go for my run/walk, but I did apply for two jobs, so I forgive myself. And I only drank two water bottles, but holy geez that's a lot of water. I literally just finished chugging down the second one.
Thanks for your encouragement, Mallory, I hope you're right! Salty and sugary foods are definitely my depression foods.
