Mallory's Weigh In
I weighed myself this morning because we are going to grand junction this weekend and I wanted to see how I was doing. My weight was 226.3 which is up 4 pounds. Seriously. FOUR pounds. I have been doing GOOD too. Drinking water and eating healthy. Exercise. I thought I would be at 220 or below because I have been burning a ton of calories. Maybe working nights has affected how my weigh in times are. That's all I can think of and it's what I keep telling myself. Otherwise, I just feel like what's the point of all this.

I'm sure it has to affect your weigh in times of the day. Maybe weigh when you wake up at 3 or whenever? I'd try it today and see what the difference is b/c you're right, you've been burning a ton of calories! How has eating been going? Also, I imagine working at nights might take your body awhile to get used to - just like sleep. Keep up with it though, four pounds can't be accurate!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lori (it's a theme for my comments this morning). I would totally try weighing when you get up. And also, you had what sounds like a pretty strenuous bike ride yesterday, so your weight might be up, but it'll likely be down in a day or two.
ReplyDeleteWhen are you guys coming over?
I think I just shouldn't post in the morning. I seem to be bitter and angry in the morning. Ha ha. I am up with the kids until I put them down for a nap but I got some sleep and I am feeling much more hope.
ReplyDeleteOk so after a day of average eating for me recently, I have tracked everything and I was at 1758 cal and 3300 sodium. There's no way I am drinking NEAR enough water for that kind of sodium intake. I drink 4 bottles/day which is 120 ounces or so and I have read that for weight loss you should drink .5 ounces per pound of body weight plus more to compensate for heavy exercise, etc. So, I am going to try for 5 tomorrow. (I am going to start tracking my intake/exercise in a 24hr period, from midnight to midnight) Also my goal for our trip is to not to go out to eat. Yay!
