So, I got on the scale this morning and it said 170.2, which is down a pound from Friday. So, I was pretty happy about that. But I noticed that it didn't show me the little arrow and tell me how much I had lost. So I switched to user 2 and stepped on. The scale said 169.2. This all happened within a minute. Where did the pound go? WTF, scale??? And of course I threw the book away because I already knew how to work it so why would I need an instruction manual? So, I don't really know, but I liked the second weight better, so that's what I'm going with because I really just need something to feel good about. 169.2: down 2 pounds from Friday. Yay me!!!
And in case anyone is wondering (which I'm sure you're not), I am over-qualified to be a legal secretary. Awesome. And what is with all the smoke in the air? Seriously. I miss being able to see the top of the Grand Mesa. Stupid fires. End random mini-rant.

Two pounds is AWESOME! Way to go! How is livestrong going for you? It must be going pretty good!
ReplyDeleteSo, why are you over qualified to be a legal secretary? What is a legal secretary?
I really like livestrong. They seriously seem to have almost everything! Some days I wish I didn't know, though. And some days I'm really lazy and guess at how many servings of something I have eaten, but at least I'm getting somewhere in the ballpark. How is it going for you?
ReplyDeleteI'm over qualified because I have too much paralegal experience and they think I will be bored. And I'm underqualified because I don't know how to do transcription. And I'm young, so they think I'm going to quit as soon as I find something better. Which, in all fairness, is probably true. In five years I don't see myself working as a secretary, not that there's anything wrong with that. And of course five years ago I didn't see myself where I am today, either. So who knows.
I agree - I like livestrong too. Plus I agree on choosing the lowest weight. Of course!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the legal sec job! That's terrible.
Oh, and I bet you can find the instructions for the scale (if you want them that is) on the internet. EVERYTHING is on the internet, lol.
