I've decided I need to have daily goals, so that if I meet those goals I will feel like I have accomplished something and will hopefully be motivated to keep going. I'm not going to post those goals everyday cuz that would bore the crap out of everyone, including myself. And the goals will probably be about the same everyday.
Goals for today:
Drink 8 glasses of water (so far 0/8 - better get on that)
Track Calories on Livestrong.com, keep calories between 1200 and 1500.
Eat veggies at dinner.
Go for after dinner walk instead of watching inane tv shows I don't even like.
Goals for tomorrow:
Get out of bed by 7:30 a.m. and go running
Drink 8 glasses of water
Track calories again
Eat more veggies

p.s. I'm probably not going to make the calorie goal today due to the 50 million banana muffins (some with cream cheese) I've already eaten.
ReplyDeleteSo, how did it go? Also, I don't think that you posting your goals daily would bore the crap out of anyone. If it does they could always no read it!!
ReplyDeleteIt did not go so well. Particulary on Friday. I did eat more veggies, but I also had all that pie and ice cream and pizza. I have tried to be more aware of my water drinking (or lack there of.) Still, I'm only averaging 4 glasses a day. It's not good. Haven't been running. I have been tracking my calories. Yesterday I did well: about 1400. I think I may start posting my goals and how I'm doing every day because frankly, keeping it to myself isn't working out real well. And you're right, if I bore people then they don't have to read my crap.
